Hi I see I need to get a zipper foot for my machine as it didn't come with one. On the internet sites I see zipper foot and concealed zipper foot. What do you recommend for the cushions?

Many thanks.

SewHelpful:

We just use a zipper foot.

Thanks. I've just finished my first cushion. Really pleased with the result.

Julie

really love these instructions, like all your videos the steps are clear and easy to follow. Just one question, did you use a zipper foot when inserting the zip?

Regards

Julie

We used a standard foot inserting the zip in this plain cushion tutorial video.

In the piped cushion tutorial you have to get the zip tight to the piping, so we use a zip foot when inserting the zip in that tutorial video

Just made my first zipped cushions and the tutorial was brilliant! They look great, if I do say so myself and am looking forward to making full length curtains for my bay window using your tutorial. Great website!

I purchased a day's viewing of the piped cushion videos yesterday and today have a lovely cushion. I am now confident to make more. As you say in your tip the videos are extremely well worthwhile and great value for money! Your written tutorial is clear and extremely high quality, but nothing replaces a good demonstration. Your commentary and hints are very helpful and the close-up shots are superb. Thank you so much from a grateful sewer. PS I haven't tacked for a long time but followed your advice to do this on the zip, and got superior results.
